When will I receive my Birth pool?

To maximise your Birth Pool hire period we aim to deliver your Birthing pool to you around 36 weeks. We will contact you after your booking to confirm dates.

What is the cost for delivery?

Delivery of our birth pool hire costs £5.95 price include delivery either way to UK Mainland, inc Highlands & Islands. Sorry not Ireland currently.

If you require a Saturday or Sunday delivery there is an additional cost of £25. (must be ordered before 1pm on Friday to have this as an option)

What is the refund policy?

Should you cancel before your pool is dispatched then Yes. We refund in full, with no admin charges

If your pool is dispatched - You will need to notify us and REFUSE your delivery when it arrives. When the pool comes back into us we will raise the refund minus the £25 courier charges

If you take delivery of your pool -  Your hire has begun. No refund is available

We of course cannot guarantee you can use the pool that will be up to your trust and your midwives. It is out of our hands. Please consider this when ordering. You do not need a pool to birth at home.

Can I order extra items?

Of course. There is an 'additional accessories' category on the website for water birth products available alongside your birth pool hire. These will be shipped FOC with your Birth Pool hire and come under the standard distance selling regulations.

Do I get instructions on how to use the Birthing pool?

Inside the Birth pool hire kit you will receive professionally printed booklet with step by step guides on the following:

  • Contents & Pre-Checks.
  • Inflating & Filling.
  • Cleaning Up and Re-Packaging.
  • Returning Your Birth Pool.

Taking the guess work out of things for you and your birth partner. 

How do I return my hire pool?

Our Birth pools are shipped in heavy duty shipping containers that are re-used for returning your Birth pool.

A UPS returns label is provided with your pool.  Return is expected within 48 - 72 hours after use.

Simply pack the pool according to the instructions and give us a call to arrange a convenient day.
You will need to be in the collection premises until UPS has been. If you 'pop' out or if the collection fails for not being ready or not answering the door you will need to pay for a second collection.
